Kristin Henningson
Valero
Kristin Henningson majored in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania; following her graduation in 2005, she has since performed environmental work for the oil and gas industry. Although most of Kristin’s career has been in air permitting and compliance – spanning upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas – her current role at Valero is in the Fuels Regulatory Planning & Assurance group where she focuses on the company’s Low Carbon Fuels programs.
Kristin is going to explain Carbon Intensity to help us understand the innovation of low-carbon transportation fuels and why they are important to continue providing affordable energy solutions.
Kristin was a highly active member of the WEN Greater Pittsburgh Chapter where she served in multiple board positions and was named 2018’s “Woman of the Year” at the Chapter’s Boots and Ballgowns Gala. Kristin relocated to San Antonio in 2020 and is now active in WEN’s South Texas Chapter, where she served as the Membership Director for 2021 and serves as the President-Elect in 2022.
