"Laser Ablation: Say Goodbye to
Traditional Surface Preparation"

Troy Blackmon
COO, TB Industrial LLC

Troy Blackmon has delivered innovative solutions to bulk fuel and pipeline facility owners both in the private and federal sectors over the last 31 years. During this time, he has built and managed three significant industrial maintenance and construction businesses providing storage tank, piping, and industrial painting services. His reputation for delivering projects in the industry resulted in the negotiation and execution of over $120mm in sole-source contract awards from the Department of Defense since 2017.
Today he serves as the Director of Fuels for TerraGraphics and as the COO of TB Industrial. After many years of delivering high quality storage tank and pipeline coatings and linings projects using traditional sandblasting and power tool surface preparation methods, he is now advocating the transition to the cleaner, safer, and more efficient processes using fiber laser technology. He works closely with a local San Antonio laser equipment provider, Nuwave, to develop innovative laser ablation tools specifically for use in bulk fuel and pipeline facilities.
Troy is a "double-Aggie", having earned his BS in Construction Science in 1994 and completing the Texas A&M University Executive MBA Program in 2008. He and his wife have been married 31 years, are at various stages of raising their 7 children, and live nearby in Boerne.

Adopt An Angel Project
Select Your Ornament At The November Luncheon
We’re excited to once again partner with A World of Children, which provides foster and foster-to-adopt services for abused and neglected children across the state. At our November luncheon on 11/13, the Angel Tree will feature wish lists for more than 50 children. If you’d like to participate, please bring your selected ornament to the registration desk, where Renee Ardoin will track the ornaments and members providing gifts.
Please return gifts in a gift bag (not wrapped) at the December luncheon on 12/11. Monetary donations are also welcome - just click here to donate online, and we’ll purchase the gifts for you. Thank you for helping make this holiday season brighter for these deserving children!
